Hello Again!

Been a while, hasn't it? Well, I am still around. I am still creating, though not as much. I am hoping to get more ideas. The newest pic I posted is one of four that I did for a LARP game. It's my favorite one (and the least risque!). So, any ideas? I can always use them.

A couple months ago, I was asked by a friend of my mother's to take pics at thier wedding. This was the first time I had ever done this, so I was a bit nervous. Fortunatly, they had another very nice lady taking pics who was more experienced than I, so I learned alot. One very important thing I learned was that the more pics you take, the better.I took over 500 shots and came out with a little over 100 that were what I considered good. It looks like everyone was happy, though, so it was a success. I hope you all enjoy the ones I posted!

I was invited by IsadoraBrokenHeart to her school field trip to the Portland Chinese Gardens. I had been there before, but not with my camera. And since I just got a new one, I was eager to try it out. Not only did I get some great pictures, but the teacher was really cool and I even learned a few things about the architecture and meaning of traditional Chinese gardens. Creative and educational!

Thank you for the watch and the favorites, always nice to hear from a local.
Its always a challenge to do photos of people...they change so much. I plan on doing some more with that same lady.
Yeah, people are the ultimate challenge and success in art, whether we are talking drawing, painting, sculpture, or photography, the human body is a pinnacle for technical and compositional skills.

Where did you study photography and art?
Self taught. I have been doing it for years. At some point, I would like to get some formal training to learn some of the more technical aspects.
